Anna Doble is social media producer at Channel 4 News and a site editor for channel4.com/news.

She joined the team ahead of the 2010 general election during which she helped drive daily live blogs and encouraged the wider Channel 4 News team to use social media as both a platform and newsgathering tool.

Doble has also worked on longer term projects including an online special report on US drone strikes in Pakistan which was nominated for an Amnesty International Media award.

She is currently working with developers on a “Channel 4 News network” for fans and followers of the programme. The idea is to create a clearly signposted route to unique news content and offer a forum for meaningful interaction.

Doble was previously news editor at ITN Multimedia and Independent Radio News. Before that she was a newsreader at IRN and a regional radio reporter in Bedfordshire and Yorkshire.
