David Hayward is head of the BBC College of Journalism’s Journalism Programme, a series of events, masterclasses, debates, discussions and conferences on all issues surrounding journalism.

Hayward has been a BBC journalist for 16 years. He began his career at BBC Radio Leicester. He has gone on to work across the BBC as a reporter, producer and editor in network radio, regional TV and for the BBC World Service Trust in eastern Europe.
