Joanna Geary
Joanna Geary is web development editor, business, for The Times, London.
Her job includes, amongst other things, developing digital content for business news and looking at the future of Times Online. Her interests include the changing business models for news and the development of new online products.
She was the founder of BrandNew (for those who represent brands online) and the Birmingham Social Media Cafe.
She started her career at The Birmingham Post as a business journalist and then moved into web development, designing and maintaining the newspaper’s blogging platform bringing together more than 30 journalists, industry leaders, academics and experienced bloggers. She also launched The Birmingham Post’s new news, business, sport and lifestyle feeds on Twitter.
