After hitting its crowdfunding target, raising $2.6 million, the English version of the Dutch ‘unbreaking news’ site De Correspondent is planning to launch by mid-2019. Jessica Best will be joining the panel discussing new ways to finance journalism in the digital age.

 

 

Dominic Young, founder, Agate
Micropayment is another business model some publishers use to finance editorial content, allowing audiences to pay a small amount of money for a particular article they want to read instead of committing to a subscription.

Can this model help build a sustainable revenue stream? What about readers’ loyalty? Dominic Young, founder of a micropayment service Agate, will be joining the panel to answer these questions.

 

Alexa, how can we monetise content on smart speakers?

Peter Stewart, journalist and author
