Jakub Parusinski is a co-founder and CFO of the Kyiv Independent, a leading English-language publication covering Ukraine and an editor at The Fix, a media industry publication and research centre covering the European media sector.
Jakub is a member of the advisory board of the Media Centre at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, where he is a program director and lecturer on media strategy and entrepreneurship. He is also a board member of Warsaw-based, award-winning media start-up Outriders
Jakub has more than 10 years’ experience working across a range of roles in media – from journalist to CEO (and almost everything in between). He holds an MBA from INSEAD and worked at McKinsey’s London office, focusing on digital strategy and advanced analytics.
