Jonathan is an award winning editor and newsroom leader with over twenty years of TV, radio and digital experience. He currently leads BBC News Podcasts including Newscast and Newscast TV. He has created several award winning podcast shows including Ukrainecast, the reboot of Americast, and Eurovisioncast.
Jonathan edited The Shamima Begum Story from the multi-award winning series ‘I’m Not a Monster’, has worked across the BBC’s biggest brands including Radio 4 and BBC Breakfast, and has run international programmes including the US Election Results and live broadcasts from Kashmir.
He was selected for the BBC’s prestigious News Leadership scheme and the BBC Disability Steering Group. He has also been a voice for greater LGBTQ+ portrayal in the BBC.
