Lori Little is head of content at the Isle of Wight County Press, a Newsquest publication and the biggest selling weekly newspaper in the UK. A traditional print newspaper since 1884, the County Press has rapidly become a digital force to be reckoned with, in some months, achieving more than two million news page impressions.
Lori started at the paper as a trainee reporter in 2001 and worked her way up to senior reporter level. She took a break while her two children were in their younger years and returned to the newsroom six years ago, becoming head of content in April 2019.
This year, she joined a solutions journalism project, COJO Against COVID, and has produced articles on the Isle of Wight rentals crisis, the post-covid and post-Brexit hospitality crisis, and the perils of online gambling and gaming addictions in young people. Another piece looked at how a local gift card was aiming to help businesses emerge from the pandemic.
