Matthew Eltringham

Matthew Eltringham is assistant editor, interactivity at the BBC. He has worked for the BBC in a variety of roles for 15 years. He currently works in the heart of the BBC’s newsroom looking after Have Your Say, the BBC’s messageboard on the BBC News website.

He set up the UGC Hub in 2005 – a team that manages how user generated content is used across the news output, and won an RTS award for the coverage of the July 2007 floods.

He continues to work on online editorial engagement and improving the BBC’s involvement with social media.
