Adam Westbrook

Adam Westbrook is a multimedia journalist, blogger and lecturer. He has worked across the UK for both Bauer and CN Group, covering the 2007 floods, the disappearance of Claudia Lawrence and the Lindsay Refinery Protests in 2009. He has also reported from Iraq on the last soldiers to serve in Baghdad and Basra.

In 2009 he went freelance and now lectures in video and photojournalism at Kingston University. He advised the university on how to adjust its journalism degree to take account of changes to the industry and in November started the UK Future of News Group, a forum for journalists, entrepreneurs students and academics interested in the future of news.

His personal blog is at http://adamwestbrook.wordpress.com and his website can be found at http://www.adamwestbrook.co.uk.

At news:rewired Adam will be talking about multimedia skills for journalists. You can read more about his thoughts on this in our Q&A post with him.
