Jon Bernstein is deputy editor of New Statesman.
A former multimedia editor of Channel 4, he joined New Statesman in November 2009.
He joined ITN in 2005 as editor of the Channel 4 FactCheck website. He was editor-in-chief of the DirectGov website between March 2003 and February 2005. Prior to this he was launch editor of broadcast media news site silicon.com.
Jon was a founding blogger of TheMediaBlog.co.uk and writes guest posts for the Journalism.co.uk Editors’ Blog.
