What’s it about?
It’s a one-day event for journalists and communications professionals who want to learn more about building a brand and digital products to support and share their content. This event, which focuses on practical advice from experts in journalism and digital publishing, will look at the processes and technology involved beyond producing content that can make your journalism and communications more powerful.

The sessions will cover: building communities for content from scratch; search engine optimisation for specialist publishers; new business ideas and product management; and what linked data and the semantic web mean for journalists.

Who’s it for?
news:rewired events are for: working journalists with an interest in digital media; media trainers and students; journalism and communications academics; PR and communications professionals; and anyone interested in where the journalism and media industries are headed.

Journalism.co.uk’s news:rewired – the nouveau niche event took take place on 25 June 2010 at Microsoft UK’s London office.

The aim was a one-day event for journalists and communications professionals with a specialist subject or beat, offering new, practical ideas for online publishing. It was a follow up to our first conference in January with more of a niche focus this time around.
