We are pleased to announce Tame as the latest sponsor of digital journalism conference news:rewired, which takes place on Friday 20 September.

Tame is a new tool for searching social media. Journalism.co.uk included it in this list of 16 incredibly useful newsgathering tools.

Tame founder and chief marketing officer Torsten Müller will be speaking in the session on searching social media. He will demo the tool, showing how useful it is to journalists.

He joins Storyful’s Malachy Browne, Swedish Radio’s Yasmine El Rafie, and Future’s Katherine Raderecht, who are also presenting in the session.

The one day conference also includes sessions on breaking news, online video, and breaking article boundaries, Workshops will look at verification, mapping, LinkedIn and becoming a data-driven newsroom through effective use of content consumption information.

The day is aimed at journalists, editors and other news industry professionals. Sessions are very practical and highlight new tools and case studies. See the full agenda here.

There are only a few tickets remaining. They cost £130 +VAT and can be bought by following this link.

The conference is being held at MSN UK’s offices in Victoria, London.
