One of the key sessions of the day will be a discussion around constructive journalism, the newsgathering and storytelling practice that looks at solutions to problems, presenting stories of resourcefulness, action or community spirit alongside in-depth analysis of the issues at hand.

James is the new CrowdTangle representative for Europe, Middle East and Africa, having joined Facebook from BBC News in October. He spent nine years as a BBC journalist, with spells as a reporter in Washington and as Digital Editor for Africa. Most recently he was Assistant Editor of the Social team, managing the team that runs the BBC News Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

At newsrewired, Bianca Wright of Coventry University will share insights into the creation of a VR news game about the Coventry Blitz.
The experience places viewers in the shoes of firefighters attempting to extinguish the blaze at Coventry Cathedral during the Blitz.
Bianca and her team will also demo the experience to delegates interested in trying out a VR news game for themselves.
